Today was just such a beautiful and sunny day not to be wasted. I took some time to go up the Garden of the Gods walking trail and take in the crisp fall weather and take some photos along the way.

Ranching Life: Fall harvest & Chili roast

Growing up in a ranching/farming family sure does have its benefits....despite all the hard manual labor, the results of the labor is that of produce for the rest of the year.
This year Frost Farms roasted Big Jim green chili for freezing & fresh roast and also harvested a field of Yukon Gold & Red potatoes.

Women's retreat at the Farish

I had the opportunity to join a group of women from All Souls church and spend 2 days at a place called the Farish Recreation Area, up near Woodland Park. While there, I had some free time to go out on a walk with my camera capturing the last proof of summer in the mountains!
